About

Martin D. McReynolds was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He practices in the areas of oil, gas & mineral law, ranch real estate law, property tax law and business law. He is Board Certified in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is licensed as a Senior Property Tax Consultant by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.


He attended John Brown University, earning a bachelor of science in Biology and graduating with honors. In 2005, Martin earned a juris doctorate degree from Michigan State University College of Law, graduating magna cum laude. While in law school, he completed a tax law certificate program and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi international legal fraternity. He also served as law clerk for the 40th Circuit Court in Lapeer County, Michigan.


He is a member of the State Bar of Texas (Oil, Gas, and Energy Resources Law Section & Real Estate, Probate & Trust Section), San Antonio Bar Association (Natural Resources Section), South Texas Geological Society and the San Antonio Association of Professional Landmen. He served as Chair of the SABA Natural Resources Section from 2015-2016. He was licensed to practice law in 2005.

Martin is pictured with his father, Michael L. McReynolds, who is also a board certified oil and gas lawyer.
